When I was approached by our friend, Kacie, to shoot her and her daughter, I pretty much knew instantly of doing something a little different for them. They have a special mother-daughter relationship since Kacie is a single mother. It’s just them- girl time, all the time, even their dogs (both males) have been girl-ified. For me it was important to capture the things they frequently do together, I felt it emphasized their bond. They both are pretty goofy girls so it made for a fun shoot, not to mention they were naturals at being on that side of the camera.
